The cosmic timing theory

Suppuuuuu, do you know the cosmic timing theory? It says that no matter how close two people are, they will not be intertwined into each other’s lives until the timing is too perfect to be true. The universe will keep them from meeting on so many occasions — and once the timing is perfect, it will let them find each other, however far they might be.

I believe that is exactly what happened in our case. I like you so much, and I would like to spend all the time in the world with you — watch shows together, take you out on dates, plan things for you, cook dinners for you, share my morning coffee with you, and so many more little forever-things. I am so sure that I want you in my life, so I am willing to take the risk of pursuing you, no matter what, and no matter how far you might be.

Show me your scars and your vulnerabilities, so I know where to love you the most. Even if there is a 1% chance of me ending up with you, I would never give up.

Why I am telling you now

I wished to tell you all this when I met you, but there is this constant fear of missing you that has been eating me alive. I don’t know when you might come to India, when you might say yes to a marriage proposal — and the thought of losing you is so terrifying. So I am telling you this now, instead of waiting until we meet.

The way I would love you

I would love you how you wanted to be loved. I would ask, and then love you in the way you wanted. I would put my phone down when you tell me about your day. I would care enough to listen when you are having a bad day, and even when you are telling me the smallest of inconveniences. I would hold your hand when we are crossing the road, listening to you tell me about your day. I would take time and ask about your day when you are a little down and low. I would remember the very little things about you, and how you feel about them.

I will always take the roadside when we walk together. Let the world rush by on my left, as long as I have my whole world walking safely on my right.
